MUFFLING FOG - AFTER MARTIN HEIDEGGER | 2014

The multimedia concert for piano, sound and video art.

For acoustic grand piano, stereo sound and single-channel video projection.
Duration: 45 minutes.

Composer, director, video, sound: Gio Janiashvili.

The work was composed in New York in 2014 and was inspired by Martin Heidegger's philosophy of boredom. Piano, sound (electronic/concrete music), and video play equal dramaturgical importance in the performance structure, which examines emotional states of boredom and particularities of the flow of time in relation to it.

"Can be called many things, but not boring." - The New York Times.
